SNSI is a broad coalition of publishers, libraries, universities, IT and cybersecurity teams, and others across the scholarly communications community. We are united by a shared concern: the cybersecurity risks facing scholarly networks. From pirate sites and data theft to hacking and ransomware, these threats are serious and growing.  

No single organization can tackle these challenges alone. The threat landscape moves too quickly, and the consequences affect us all. Working together we can be more effective and help protect the integrity of research and the institutions that depend on it. We can share intelligence and ideas, support each other, and come together at events such as our annual SNSI Security Summit.

We are open to working with anyone with an interest in scholarly communication and data security. Whether you are a librarian, a university leader, an IT or cybersecurity professional – or simply someone who cares about this issue – we would love to hear from you.
