The Scholarly Networks Security Initiative (SNSI) is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Our approach to accessibility

Accessibility standards

Our aim is for this website to conform as closely as reasonably possible to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

WCAG is an internationally recognised set of guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to improve the accessibility of websites and digital content.

The guidelines are organised around four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

We continue to review the website as content and functionality change.

Some pages on our website contain videos hosted by YouTube.

Where available, we aim to use captions and accessibility features provided by YouTube. However, some aspects of the YouTube player and other third-party content are provided and controlled by Google rather than SNSI.

If you experience difficulty accessing information contained within a video, please contact us and we will endeavour to provide the information in an alternative format where reasonably possible.

Although we aim to choose services that support good accessibility practices, we cannot always control the accessibility of content or interfaces provided by third parties.
